About Me
I’m a Solution Architect with 18+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise hybrid cloud, VMware, and AI infrastructure solutions at scale. Currently, I lead VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), Private AI, and Generative AI initiatives at HCLTech as part of the Center of Excellence, working closely with customers, pre-sales, and technology partners.
Over the past four-plus years I’ve been deeply involved in HCL AI Factory initiatives — spanning AI datacenter readiness, GPU platforms, private AI deployments, and RAG and Agentic AI use cases. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Applications with research focused on cloud and AI security.
Beyond the technical work, I’m passionate about knowledge sharing — as a VMware vExpert for 10+ consecutive years, a VMUG Leader, and a regular speaker at global conferences including VMworld, VMware Explore, NVIDIA GTC, and AWS re:Invent.
I hold multiple US patents, have published peer-reviewed research in IEEE and SAGE journals, and authored whitepapers on securing enterprise AI workloads. I bring a rare combination of deep technical depth, research rigour, and enterprise solutioning experience.
Career Journey
Leading VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9), Private AI, and GenAI infrastructure solutioning in the COE. Built HCL SuperBot (RAG-based chatbot on IBM watsonx), designed GPU-accelerated AI infrastructure for financial services clients, architected MCP integrations and Agentic AI workflows, and validated multi-cloud GenAI POCs across Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, NVIDIA AI Enterprise, and VMware Private AI.
Technical Solution Architect managing 40+ datacenters, 400+ ESXi hosts, and 5,000+ VMs. Led DR strategies using VMware SRM, performance optimisation, capacity planning, and automation using PowerCLI and IPsoft. Recognised with multiple IBM Excellence Awards.
Managed VMware vSphere/ESXi environments for ~90 offshore clients, overseeing ~200 servers. Led VM provisioning, migrations, HA operations, and Microsoft Exchange 2007 HA/DR within ITIL processes.
Managed Windows server infrastructure and day-to-day IT operations for a national broadcast media environment.
Administered Wintel server infrastructure and enterprise IT support across IT services environments, building foundational systems-administration expertise.
